South and East Saskatchewan and Manitoba Janina Currah 1-306-269-7556
Read bio

Janina Currah joined the Victory Canola team as a Territory Manager in August of 2024. She has years of experience with Cargill, starting as a summer intern in 2007. Janina joined us fulltime as an agronomist in Canwood in 2008 when she graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. In 2011, she and her husband Rob moved to Ituna to be closer to the family farm, where she briefly continued as an agronomist out of the Balcarres location before she was promoted to the role of Agronomy Manager for the Saskatchewan Region while still on a Maternity leave in 2013.

Janina and Rob moved to Foam Lake in 2011 and have their own farm alongside Janina’s family farm near Foam Lake. Since returning to the area, she has volunteered with many community organizations, from the local daycare board to the community School of Music board, and even getting certified as a Soccer referee to help ensure that a lack of referees would not keep the local kids from playing. Janina has also given back to the agriculture industry, most recently as Prairie Certified Crop Advisor board member.

Janina learned both the value of hard work and the importance of time spent with family and friends. Summers were spent at the family cabin, which was a source of joy with both sets of grandparents and many cousins and friends. It was an opportunity to live a bit of the “town life” away from the farm, and she is thrilled to be able to continue the tradition with her own three daughters. She and Rob have also enjoyed time spent in the northern part of Saskatchewan: canoeing, quadding, and camping and hope to share this love with their girls as they grow. In the wintery months, Janina takes advantage of her precious “spare time” by curling and reading.

Kirby Gray’s career with Cargill began in North Battlefield in 1990. With more than 30 years of experience in a variety of locations and roles, Kirby brings a unique perspective to his role as Territory Manager for Alberta. There’s a saying among long-tenured Cargill employees: “One thing that is always the same at Cargill is that things are always changing.” Through every twist and turn, Kirby has been a strong source of essential support for colleagues and farmers alike.

Outside of work, Kirby spends his time travelling the world, camping with his wife in the Canadian Rockies, spending time with his three granddaughters, and enjoying rock concerts…of which he has been to too many to count.

Born and raised in Eston, Saskatchewan, Rob Jardine has deep roots in the community and a diverse professional background, which includes serving as Marketing Analyst for SaskTel’s 911 portfolio. His first role was as Farm Marketing Rep in Kindersley, SK, then on to Moose Jaw, where he excelled in multiple roles and proved himself a passionate supporter of the Victory Canola Program. Rob returned to Cargill as a Territory Manager in September of 2022, following a brief break to buy grain for another company.

Rob lives in Saskatoon with his wife, Heather, and daughter, Madison. When not at work, he loves to travel—especially if it means catching a Toronto Blue Jay’s game—and is on a mission to find the best cinnamon buns in the Northwest territory.

Central and North East Saskatchewan Mike Kirzinger 306-222-5962
Read bio

As our longest serving Territory Manager, Mike Kirzinger brings more than 15 years of experience to his work—earning him the oft-uttered acknowledgement, “Mike is right,” in team meetings. His passion for agriculture began in childhood on his family’s mixed cattle and grain farm. Mike worked at Monsanto, the Leroy Co-op, and SW seeds/FP genetics before landing his “dream job” at Cargill in 2007. To farmer customers, end-use customers and sales teams, Mike brings a long-term perspective and thoughtful consideration of their unique needs.

Mike’s favorite things in life are his family—wife, Nancy, and three kids, Kyle, Abby and Nate—his livestock (his cows are his “zen place”), and cheering on his favorite teams, most notably, the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
